Nigiri is a nerdy young adult with a brown hair in two braids and a millennial grandma sense of fashion. She is Mee-young’s close cousin and the daughter of Gu-Hyun Jaibatsume and Councillor Chu-Hae Jaibatsume. In Karakura Highschool & College, she worked in the Journalism Club, even briefly under Mee-young’s leadership; she covered topics such as Karakura’s street scene, documenting races, meet-ups and car repairs from a distance which eventually lead to her meeting Koji Hiroshima, the leader of Rakyyatsu; Koji later became her fiancé.
After earning her PH.D., Nigiri became Karakura’s most social and revolutionary Senior Reporter, especially compared to her predecessor, who was once labelled Karakura’s most dangerous Criminal. Through Interviews, events and collaborations with local authorities, she helped rebuild the trust between Karakura News and the city; her biggest achievement was launching Whizfeed, a fun media branch with quick news, quizzes and relatable content ( 100% not a buzzfeed rip-off ).
After several successful years, Nigiri received a high-paying job offer on the mainland; she and Koji took the opportunity and relocated to Kyoto.
